President Donna Orender announced the folding of the Houston Comets franchise Monday. December 8, the WNBA will be holding a dispersal draft where the 13 remaining teams will have dibs on the Comets best talent.

Who’s up for grabs?

There are only 9 players eligible for the dispersal draft after the 5 unrestricted free agents; Tina Thompson, Michelle Snow, Mwadi Mabika, Latasha Byears, and Hamchetou Maiga-Ba are taken from the list as they are not eligible.

The WNBA has offered up their predictions on the what, where and how. Along with the 9 dispersal draft picks, you’ll also see the potential teams that are likely to select them on Monday.

The remaining 9 and their potential teams are:

1. Matee Ajavon – Good opportunity for Atlanta but the W thinks they will pass on her and go for Sancho Lyttle.
2. Tamecka Dixon – Possible return to Los Angeles
3. Roneeka Hodges – maybe 3rd pick going to Chicago or 4th to Minnesota – both teams are in need of experience and outside shooting
4. Shannon Johnson – possibly Chicago but her salary might get in the way
5. Sancho Lyttle – new starter for Atlanta
6. Erica White – Chicago could take a chance and reunite White with the successful LSU-alumni of Sylvia Fowles and Quianna Chaney
7. Mistie Williams – 3 teams looking for big talent – Minnesota, Phoenix and Indiana
8. Renae Camino – possibly Sacramento or Indiana
9. Sequoia Holmes – pick 5 for the Mercury
